How to Restore Mirror Polish Finish

7 Easy steps

Step 1: Ensure surface is thoroughly clean. Use a mild non-abrasive soap or detergent and water.

Step 2: Start by wetting down the surface fully, then gently wipe it down using a soft, clean sponge or micro fibre cloth.

Step 3: Now follow with a fresh water rinse.

Step 4: Next wipe the surface dry with a soft clean micro fibre cloth.

Step 5: Apply ‘Stainex-Liquid Mirror’ polish to a soft clean micro fibre cloth & rub onto the surface in a side to side motion. Continue until the oxidation stains and deposits are removed from the surface. The paste and cloth will turn a dark, almost black colour.

Step 6: Use a clean soft micro fibre cloth to then buff to a high mirror shine.

Step 7: Finally depending on whether it is a product used for indoors or outdoors, it is recommended you use ‘Stainex-Protect’ or ‘Stainex-Care’ to finish. Simply spray onto a clean, soft microfiber cloth then rub onto the product to help protect and maintain the beautiful polish finish.

* Please note for extremely dull, aged, tired or heavy oxidation we advise using ‘Stainex-Mirror’ between Step 3 & 4 in the same process outlined for Stainex-Liquid Mirror.
